This year we are pleased to offer the play, "The Masquerade" by Todd Natti. The play opens with,
"It's been a long time since I've been back here. My time at Sonnenberg was one of the best times of my life. If these walls could talk, what stories they would tell. Not just of the Thompsons. I'm sure you are all very familiar with them. But they weren't the only ones who called this mansion home. No, before this became a museum, I lived here. Well, not just me, but all the nurses for the VA Hospital and many much longer than myself. Some had been here for almost the full ten years that the hospital had been open then. It opened in 1933. I arrived ten years later, in fact, it was seventy years ago this very day that I first came to Sonnenberg. I was just out of nursing school and ready to help our soldiers who had been in the War. I remember it well, what with the scandal that took place the night I arrived. How could any of us ever forget?"
We are sorry but all performances are sold out. We will take names for a waiting list so please call our office if interested at 585-394-4922.
