Sonnenberg offers various group tours to visitors: Motorcoach Tours and Private Party Group Tours, such as Garden Clubs, Red Hat Societies, senior centers, or school visits.

Masterpieces in Garden-Making: Led by Sonnenberg’s Executive Director and Lead Horticulturalist David Hutchings, this tour is based on Dr. William T. Hornaday’s book published in 1917 about Sonnenberg’s formal gardens. Dr. Hornaday was the first Director of the New York Zoological Park (a.k.a. “The Bronx Zoo”) and a leading conservationist of his time.
Autumn Arboretum: Sonnenberg’s trees are some of our greatest treasures. The estate has over 100 different species of trees, and many of them are the oldest of their kind in the United States. Join Sonnenberg’s Executive Director and Lead Horticulturist, David Hutchings, for this special tour of Sonnenberg’s arboretum and delight in the brilliant autumn colors of the Finger Lakes region.
A tasting of five regional wines is available in Sonnenberg’s Finger Lakes Wine Center for all group tours for an additional $3.00 per person.
