Join us in helping our exquisite property bloom with a new Visitor Welcome and Educational Center.
Sonnenberg Gardens & Mansion State Historic Park has a Visitor Gateway Capital Campaign underway that will re-develop the former 3.5 acres of the Army Reserve property for Sonnenberg Gardens non-profit.
In preparation to welcome visitors from around the world, the new main entrance is already underway and will result in a more accessible main entrance to the park and upgraded visitor and bus tour parking. From the moment visitors pull onto our campus, they will have an enhanced experience greeting them. Our new entrance will welcome guests to the historic past while demonstrating our commitment to meeting the demands of the future.
Responding to the contemporary visitors’ desire to be engaged and learn, Phase Two of the Gateway Campaign will enhance the visitor experience further with a new Visitor Welcome and Education Center. This new space will grow and expand opportunities for education and event hosting, with the center open for ten months of the year. Sonnenberg Gardens will have the capacity to flourish as a place to make personal and community connections and create lasting experiences of memorable events.
Sonnenberg Gardens is poised to blossom into “Gardens of gardens of Upstate New York” with your help. Please join us as we prepare our beautiful and historic property for growth. All levels of donations are welcomed and appreciated.
