Private Events – Indoor Event Rentals

NEW! Off-Season Events: From November through April when the park is closed to the public, Sonnenberg now accepts reservations for 72 people (seated at tables) or 99 people theatre style or less in our Carriage House. During the off-season, your event can be scheduled to start early in the day! These indoor events are offered at reduced-pricing from our Garden Season contract, but do include a modest hourly operations fee to cover off-season needs like snowplowing, utilities, and building security.

Reservations: A non-refundable deposit, half-down, should be sent with your Private Rental contract  but contact our Private Events Manager to formally book your event. You then have until 30 days prior to your event to pay the balance. You must still arrange for food and beverages, dishes and linens, etc. through an approved caterer.

Scheduling: Check availability of your preferred date with our online calendar, then contact our Private Events Manager to tour the estate, or book. Please note bookings can only be held for 5 business days without your signed contract and non-refundable deposit. Should you postpone your private event to a different day or year, your deposit will transfer to the new date with payment of a $75 administrative fee for re-booking. If less than two weeks have passed since your original booking, the re-booking fee will be waived. Any requests for partial/multiple payment will be subject to a $20 service charge for each separate payment.
