Ceremonies are held at approximately 11 am, 2 pm, and 5 pm, with some flexibility around these times. No less than 3 hours is allowed between ceremonies. Guests should be encouraged to arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the ceremony and park in our main parking lot or in the case of the new tent site, the VA parking Lot #1, in order to get to the wedding site in a timely manner. Our Trams (5 & 7 passenger golf carts) will be available for your guests to embark. Walking to the site from the main parking lot takes about 10 minutes in dress shoes and only a couple minutes from the VA lot.
Bridal parties can arrive an hour before the ceremony. There is an air-conditioned bride’s room in the mansion for the ladies to use.
If you want to do all of your wedding photos prior to the ceremony, you must let the event manager know at least 2 months before the ceremony.
PLEASE NOTE: on any given day up to 3 weddings, an evening reception, photo shoots, and rehearsals may take place at Sonnenberg but not at the same time. We make every effort to schedule these so that no event is inconvenienced, but an overlap of different groups on the property may take place. Preference is given to those whose ceremony is being held at Sonnenberg, and photo shoots know this in advance.
