Garden Appearance

Every effort is made to maintain the wedding site and gardens in an orderly and attractive manner. However, we can make no guarantee of the exact appearance of any garden, building or landscape area since planting, mowing, and restoration work is subject to staff availability and funding.

In general, annual flowers (like those in the Italian garden,) will be planted in late May/ early June and will last until the first frost (late September/Early October.)

Perennial plants each have their own distinct bloom times so refer to our bloom schedule for information on that if you have favorites you wish to look for. The bloom schedule spans from early spring to the end of the garden season in the fall.

Autumn color generally appears in October with the coming of frost. Exact timing and duration varies year to year.
