Community Gardens: Strengthening Neighborhoods By Cultivating Health, Wellbeing and Social Cohesion

Dr. Shawn Kenaley from Finger Lakes Community College’s Horticulture Dept. will explore the ways in which community gardens in urban centers promote active and healthy lifestyles as well as the significance of long-term engagement and the building of social capital to ensure downstream socio-cultural end-goals.
