Missing Sonnenberg Statues – Have You Seen Them?

Currently at Sonnenberg we are trying to locate three pieces of statuary that once called the Sonnenberg Estate home. If you have seen any of these pieces and know their whereabouts please contact Sonnenberg’s Curator, Cindy Hunt, or Executive Director, David Hutchings, at 585-394-4922.

We are very eager to determine the location of these pieces and we have the hope that someone in the community will donate these items back to Sonnenberg for the public to enjoy for generations to come.

Bust-Woman Bust of a Woman: This white marble bust stands approximately 2 to 2.5 feet tall. It depicts the bust of a woman and it includes her torso. The bust also would have had a separate base it could have been removed from. The bust was sold to a church in Canandaigua and was then sold again to an unknown buyer around 2 to 3 decades ago.
